Hi, I'm Vicky

I was raised and grew up my entire life in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I've always had a very energetic and ambitious personality that later in my life made me explore different opportunities around the world. 

 

After I finished my undergraduate degree in Design in Rio de Janeiro, I moved for a couple of months to Tel Aviv and enrolled in a business entrepreneurship course together with internships at multiple tech startups. From Tel Aviv I went straight to New York to pursue my masters degree in Design and Technology at Parsons. At Parsons I was able to learn and combine my design skills with coding, which opened up a completely new world of possibilities, ideas and projects. I also had the opportunity to teach Bootcamp at Parsons for incoming MFA students. Part of the curriculum was to teach design principles, critical, social, sustainable design, user experience, interaction design, storytelling, prototyping and presentation skills. 

 

Finishing up my MFA degree I got accepted for an internship at Yieldmo. After 6 years, I am still working at Yieldmo but now as the Senior Graphic Design Manager for the Marketing & Creative team. At Yieldmo I have been creating and designing mobile ads for a variety of top brands, building the company's brand identity with eye-catching visuals, designing and maintaining corporate websites as well as helping increase client awareness by developing marketing collateral and presentation designs. As a leader, I motivate and manage a team of designers to outline, brainstorm, innovate and delegate creative projects. 

 

As a multi talented designer I have extensive experience in web design, branding, digital ads, video editing, social media graphics, newsletters, image retouching, presentation design and project management. I certainly have many creative abilities to surprise anyone. 

 

In my free time I work with a variety of brands to design attention grabbing and creative posts for social media, website interface and experiences. 

 

After 8 years in New York and with the flexibility that the pandemic brought, currently I have been living between Rio de Janeiro and New York. I am the type of person who likes change and variety and so I am always seeking out situations that offer these. 

 

I'm extremely interested in the intersection of art, design and technology and bringing these together. One of my passions is the world of interactive and artistic experiences combining the most advanced technology.
